Free Identity Theft Workshop

At the Dublin Library, Saturday, June 12, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Identity theft is the fastest-growing crime in America. Victims of identity theft can and do suffer mentally and physically. This free presentation will tell you how to minimize your risk of being a victim of identity theft, and what to do if you are victimized.

Wednesdays Mean Summer Fun at the Dublin Library for Children

Join us for special programs for school-aged children (ages 5 and up)!

Our special programs are held on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m., with a repeat show at 2:00 p.m.*
**Repeat craft programs begin at 2:30 p.m.

Free tickets are required to attend the programs. These tickets are handed out in front of the library, beginning at 12:30 p.m., on the day of the program.

Fall 2010 Booksale

Friday, September 17 - Monday, September 20

Come to our autumn booksale! You’ll find a great selection of fiction hardcovers and paperbacks, non-fiction, childrens' books, textbooks, computer software and manuals, foreign-language books, cookbooks, DVDs and music CDs.

Booksale Schedule

  • Friday, Sept. 17: Members-only Night, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
    Join the Friends of the Dublin Library or renew your membership at the door, starting at 5:30 pm!
  • Saturday, Sept. 18: Booksale open to the public, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Sunday, Sept 19: Booksale open to the public, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
  • Monday, Sept. 20: Booksale open to the public, Noon - 3:00 pm
    Monday is Bag Day! Buy one of our paper bags for $4.00 and fill it with as many books as it can hold. Or, you can purchase and fill one of our sturdy, attractive Friends of the Dublin Library canvas tote bags for $13.00.

All booksale proceeds are used to fund equipment, library materials (such as DVDs and books by local authors), and library programs throughout the year at the Dublin Library. We appreciate your generous support of the Friends.
