Alliene Turner is an online bookseller who supports many Friends of the Library groups.

The Friends of the Dublin Library are pleased to offer rare volumes and collectors' editions through Alliene's online bookstore: TurnerBookStore.com.

All sales made through Alliene's Friends of the Dublin Library page benefit the library.

Alliene also offers books for sale on behalf of the Friends of the Dublin library at her Alibris.com account, as well as through her Amazon.com storefront.

Silent Auction

The Friends have started a monthly Silent Auction in the glass case in the library lobby. Books and bid sheets are numbered and the bid sheets are on a clipboard attached to the case where you can see what the minimum bid is and what range the book is selling for on the Internet. Each auction runs for one month.

After the first of the following month, the auction winner is notified by phone. They can pick up the book and pay for it at the library reference desk. Our minimum bids are much lower than the lowest researched price.
